Making Their Mark: Dream Of Improving School's Look Turns Into A Career
CBS4 and the Denver Business Journal are teaming up to profile companies that are "Making Their Mark" in Colorado communities.
DENVER (Denver Business Journal) - In the fourth grade, Jered Minter -- the son of an elementary school principal and an elementary school art teacher -- began to wonder why schools were designed the way they were.
"I went to a school with no windows and my dad taught at a school with a lot of windows," he said. "I wanted to know why there was a difference."
Now he's the director of the education studio at Lantz-Boggio Architects PC, where he works on designing schools.
