DENVER (CBS4) – Police officers cleared a music venue in LoDo Saturday night after a large disturbance that left a man critically hurt.

At approximately 8 p.m. authorities responded to an emergency call about a large disturbance at Summit Music Hall at 19th and Blake. When they got there they found a man unconscious.

Police believe the man might have been involved in a fight inside the hall. They say he was hit before falling and hitting his head.

Denver police spokesman John White said Saturday night that they were looking for a suspect.

“As you can see there are a lot of people patronizing the bar here tonight. What we’re trying to do right now is go through and systematically reach out to those folks who may have seen something and try and get as much information we can and try to identify a suspect,” White said.

Police said they aren’t sure yet if the incident was gang related.

The victim was listed in critical condition at Denver Health Medical Center Sunday morning.
