Aurora Police Search For Homicide Suspect Who Attacked Woman In Wheelchair

AURORA, Colo. (CBS4)- Police in Aurora are trying to track down the person who attacked a woman in a wheelchair who later died.

Police were called to the 15000 block of East Colfax Avenue on a welfare check of a woman.

The caller told police the woman in a wheelchair had come from behind the businesses on the north side of Colfax Ave. and appeared to have chest injuries.

The woman was rushed to the hospital where she died a short time later.

There are no suspects at this time.
