Aurora Police Search For Homicide Suspect Who Attacked Woman In Wheelchair

AURORA, Colo. (CBS4)- Police in Aurora are trying to track down the person who attacked a woman in a wheelchair who later died.

Police were called to the 15000 block of East Colfax Avenue on a welfare check of a woman.

The caller told police the woman in a wheelchair had come from behind the businesses on the north side of Colfax Ave. and appeared to have chest injuries.

The woman was rushed to the hospital where she died a short time later.

There are no suspects at this time.

Aurora Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed this incident or has any information on this case to please call Detective Todd Fredericksen at (303)739-6106.
