Officials Reopen Lory State Park After Wildfire
FORT COLLINS, Colo. (CBS4) - Lory State Park has reopened following last month's wildfire there.
The Galena Fire torched 1,300 acres around Horsetooth Reservoir last month.
The park was closed after the fire broke out on March 15 and it re-opened on Friday. Some trails will remain closed in the park, though.
There will be no charges for the person who accidentally started the wildfire. Officials with the Larimer County District Attorney's office said earlier this month that the homeowner was working on an electric fence when a spark ignited dry grass.
That resident, who isn't being identified, tried to put out the fire with a hose and asked someone to call 911.
