HILO, Hawaii (AP) - Authorities have identified a man who drowned on Hawaii's Big Island.
Police say the man who died on March 23 was Patrick Corbett, 37, of Gunnison.
Police say they got a report that there was a swimmer in distress at Orr's Beach in Puna. An investigation revealed that Corbett had been jumping off cliffs into the water when he became caught in a current and pulled under.
