Colorado Springs Man Arrested On Arson Charge
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) - Authorities are searching for a link between fires on an eastern Colorado Springs area street after arresting a man on suspicion of arson.
El Paso County sheriff's deputies arrested 52-year-old Clay Alan Cline on suspicion of arson following a fire at his house Wednesday. The Denver Post Saturday reports he is being held on a charge of first-degree arson.
El Paso County sheriff's spokesman Sgt. Joe Roybal says they're investigating whether there's a link between fires on Kachina Drive over the past several months.
A number listed for Cline has been disconnected and it wasn't immediately clear whether he has retained an attorney.
