LONGMONT, Colo. (CBS4)- A three-year-old boy who had been missing for eight months has been reunited with his mother.

Luke Turner had been missing since July 2012. He was found Thursday with his father, Monty Turner, hiding under some carpet inside a box truck at a relative’s home in Akron.

The boy and his father were tracked through surveillance and other investigation techniques by detectives at the Longmont Police Department.

Luke was reunited to his mother who lives in Longmont.

Longmont police have not said whether Monty faces any charges in Luke’s disappearance.
