DENVER (Denver Business Journal) – Denver hotels are ripping out pools, changing their names and rolling out prototypes of their brand’s new hotel rooms, all in an effort to attract business meetings and corporate travelers.
Hotels from downtown to the suburbs are spending millions to upgrade facilities where business groups gather, or to redo their lobbies and rooms to appeal to guests who make the facilities’ private and general spaces their office away from home. Over the next few years, at least $18.4 million in improvements are in the works.
