Burglary Suspects Caught After Leaving ID, Cell Phone Behind

BOULDER, Colo. (CBS4)– Police in Boulder caught up to two burglary suspects after an ID and cell phone were left behind.

Police arrested Lindsey Rast and John Bowden on Wednesday after Rast left behind an ID and cell phone while trying to get away.

Police believe the pair burglarized four homes in the 1700 block of Columbine Ave. in Boulder.

One person heard something suspicious and called police.

Officers said Rast dropped a purse and her cellphone which helped police track her down.

Rast and Bowden appeared in court on Thursday. Both are being held on $30,000 bond.
