Police Search For Thief, Assault Suspect

DENVER (CBS4)– Police in Denver are searching for a man who pushed down an elderly man and took his wallet.

It happened March 4 at the McDonald’s parking lot located at 6201 E. Colfax Ave.

The suspect followed the elderly victim to the parking lot and when the suspect was sure there was nobody in the area, he pushed the victim down and took his wallet from is pants.

The suspect then ran away.

Anyone with information regarding these crimes or recognizes the suspect in the pictures is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 720-913-STOP (7867). You can text to CRIMES (274637) then title DMCS and enter your message or send an e-mail to metro-denvercrimestoppers.com. If the information you provide leads to the arrest and charging of a wanted individual, you can receive a cash reward up to $2,000.
