Weld County Sheriff To Ignore 2 Gun Control Laws If Signed
GREELEY, Colo. (CBS4) - The Weld County sheriff says he won't enforce two gun control laws.
Sheriff John Cooke told the Greeley Tribune the bills are "feel good, knee jerk reactions that are unenforceable."
One of the bills expands background checks on firearms purchases. The other bill limits ammunition magazines to 15 rounds. Both of the bills are waiting to be signed into law by Gov. John Hickenlooper.
