Gates Camp Breakfast Honors Boys And Girls Club Donors
DENVER (CBS4)- The Gates Camp breakfast is an annual event that celebrates the people who help the Boys and Girls Club.
The donors help get members of the Boys and Girls Club to camp this summer.
Those campers said it's an experience like no other.
"It's important for them to get out of the city and realize there is more to summer than just watching TV and playing video games," said Gates Camp Counselor John. "We play nature games, ziplining, canoeing, archery, rock climbing, arts and crafts and challenge courses."
CBS4 Sports Anchor Vic Lombardi was the keynote speaker at the Gates Camp breakfast.
