DENVER (Denver Business Journal) – The Denver metro area has gained 101,731 residents since the 2010 Census, according to new Census Bureau estimates Thursday.
The Denver-Aurora-Lakewood area, not including Boulder County, had an estimated 2,645,209 residents in 2012, up from the 2010 count of 2,543,478, according to an analysis of Census Bureau data by G. Scott Thomas, who covers demographic trends in his On Numbers blog at The Business Journals, parent of the Denver Business Journal.
