DENVER (CBS4) – The Denver Nuggets were at the Botanic Gardens Tuesday teaching school children about gardening and the environment.
Second graders from Dora Moore School also learned how to plant a garden.
The visit was part of the preparations for the NBA Cares Green Week that starts next month. During the weeklong event the NBA plans to take on environmental initiatives like recycling programs and service projects.
