DENVER (Denver Business Journal) – Four of Colorado’s seven billionaires are richer than they were last year, according to the annual ranking by Forbes magazine.
The magazine on Monday released its list of the world’s billionaires. A record 1,426 made the list, which is a 16 percent increase over the number of billionaires in 2012. And their average net worth of rose 3 percent to $3.8 billion. Charlie Ergen, the founder of satellite TV company Dish Network and EchoStar Corp. continued his reign for a second year as Colorado’s richest man.
