CASTLE ROCK, Colo. (CBS4) – A man was injured after getting struck while trying to change a flat tire in Castle Rock Saturday night.
The 29-year-old was parked in the acceleration lane near Founders Parkway at Metzler when a driver hit him from behind.
The man was rushed to the hospital but is expected to recover.
The speed limit is 45 miles an hour where the crash happened.
“This roadway is fairly well-lit, so we’re not quite sure what the problem was or the issue was,” an officer told CBS4.
Police say no alcohol or drugs were involved. The driver of the car that struck the man may face charges.
