LAKEWOOD, Colo. (CBS4) – Police in Lakewood continue their investigation into a deadly shooting that happened on Thursday.

Officers took three people into custody for questioning several hours after the shooting which killed 21-year-old Zachary Gonzales.

Police believe that one of the three is the suspect but no charges have been filed. Only one person is still in custody, but the person’s name hasn’t been released.

“We are focusing on one of the three,” Steve Davis with Lakewood police said.

Davis said the suspect and the victim were “somewhat” acquainted and there was a dispute between them.
