COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) – Alexander Krushelnyski scored two goals in the third period as Colorado College beat Minnesota State, Mankato 4-1 Friday in the Western Collegiate Hockey Association.
The Tigers spotted MSUM a one-goal lead then roared back.
Dylan Margonari staked MSUM (20-10-3, 14-10-1) to a 1-0 lead early in second period. But Colorado College’s Scott Winkler tied it before the end of the period. Archie Skalbeck and Krushelnyski combined for three goals in the third period for the Tigers (13-15-5, 10-11-4).
Colorado College was 2-for-4 on the power play after going 1-for-16 over the previous five games.
Colorado College goalie Joe Howe made 31 saves and MSUM goalie Stephon Williams made 23 stops.
