DENVER (AP) – The head of the Republican party is in Denver trying to improve his party’s showing among minority voters.
Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus on Monday will kick off a western tour showcasing the GOP’s outreach to Hispanics and Asians. Priebus and other Colorado Republicans will hold a press conference Monday afternoon in Denver after a “listening session” with Hispanic leaders.
Priebus will then head to Los Angeles to meet with Hispanic and Asian voters. He goes to San Francisco to meet with technology companies and ends the swing in Seattle discussing how to overcome his party’s deficit in early voting.
The GOP lost Hispanic and Asian voters by a more than 2-1 margin in November. Their technological operation also paled in comparison to that of President Obama’s re-election campaign.
