DENVER (CBS4)- Police in Denver were negotiating with a suspect in a standoff in downtown Denver late Friday night.
A suspected car thief was trying to get away from officers when he ran into a home at 28th and Larimer.
Police surrounded the home and are negotiating with the suspect to come outside.
The homeowner was inside when the suspect ran into the home but the homeowner was able to escape safely.
No homes were evacuated in the neighborhood. Police did not indicate that anyone else was in danger in the vicinity.
