DENVER (CBS4)- An underground gas leak in downtown Denver may disrupt the evening commute after crews closed down Blake Street between 15th and 17th.
Xcel Energy crews discovered the leak during a routine inspection of the downtown natural gas system on Wednesday afternoon.
Xcel Energy crews are working on repairing the leak.
Blake Street will remain closed between 15th and 17th until between 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. Wednesday. Commuters are advised to take alternate routes.
All businesses in the area will continue to have natural gas service.
