Parker Police Arrest Scoutmaster On Child Porn Charges

PARKER, Colo. (CBS4) - Police in Parker have arrested a Scoutmaster for the Boy Scouts for allegedly possessing and distributing child pornography.

Brian David Robbins, 30, was booked on two counts of sexual exploitation of a child.

According to police, in January detectives with the ICAC (Internet Crimes Against Children) Task Force began an investigation near the 22000 block of Pensive Court located in the Canterberry subdivision.

Officers executed a search warrant on Robbins' home on Tuesday and found numerous items of evidence, including digital images of unknown child victims. Detectives are now working to identify the children.

"During the course of the investigation it was discovered that Robbins is a Scoutmaster for a Boy Scout troop in the Parker area," police said in a statement.

Police said it's unclear how many victims they are dealing with at this time. Police want parents whose children have had exposure to Robbins to talk to their children.

The Boys Scouts of America headquarters in Colorado got a call from Parker police alerting them of the arrest. The organization told CBS4 they are working with police and parents.

Robbins is currently being held on a $50,000 bond.
