FORT COLLINS, Colo. (CBS4) – A standoff situation in Fort Collins ended peacefully Monday afternoon.
The standoff began at approximately 12:40 p.m. in the 800 block of Tyler Street. Police said a neighbor witnessed a woman come out of a home and yell for help. A man then dragged her back inside.
Police say the man was holding the woman and her two children hostage. The relationship between the man and the woman wasn’t immediately clear.
A SWAT team was called and they used a flash charge in the front yard. Police said the woman then came out of the house with her infant and the man was taken into custody.
Nobody was hurt.
Police have not released the name of the suspect.
