Western Colorado School Allowing School Officials To Carry Guns

CORTEZ, Colo. (CBS4) - A school board in Western Colorado will allow the superintendent and a principal to carry guns on school grounds.

The Dolorez County School Board voted unanimously to allow the officials at Dove Creek High School located north of Cortez to carry guns as long as they complete a concealed carry course and get a permit.

In exchange the superintendent and principal will double as security officers at the school.
