COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) — Colorado Springs police have arrested teenager after she got into a fight with police who were trying to help her stepfather, who shot himself with an antique shotgun.

Police say the man suffered minor injuries early Friday and was taken to a hospital for treatment.

The teenager was arrested after police said she interfered with attempts to help the man and kicked an officer who tried to put her into a patrol car.

The teen was arrested on suspicion of assault on a peace officer and obstruction.
