Shooting In Aurora Leaves Male With Life Threatening Injuries

AURORA, Colo. (CBS4) - A male who may have been attending a party was shot early Sunday morning and hospitalized.

The shooting happened after 5 a.m. in Aurora near the border with Denver, in the 1100 block of Yosemite Street. Investigators said the person then walked across the street into Denver before collapsing.

Police arrived to find him lying in the street on E. 12th Ave west of North Yosemite Street.

Aurora officials said the victim's injuries are life threatening.

The name of the victim hasn't been released. Officials said investigators were interviewing witnesses but so far haven't made an arrest.

The victim will not be identified at this time. Detectives are looking for any information that may help solve this crime.
