FORT COLLINS, Colo. (CBS4)- A couple from Loveland who have been accused in a plot to rob what they thought were pedophiles and take their children appeared in court Friday.

According to an arrest affidavit, Dustin Canup and Sareena Morrison set up a fake account on an adult website.

The couple allegedly posed as a 15-year-old girl.

According to the affidavit their plan was to meet the pedophile and rob them then take the pedophile’s child and raise it as their own.

They appeared in court for a brief hearing and will appear in court again later this month for a bond hearing.
