THORNTON, Colo. (CBS4)- Police in Thornton are investigating reports of a sexual assault that occurred involving two students at Thornton Middle School.

Police were called to the school located at 9451 Hoffman Way on reports of an alleged sexual assault involving a student.

A 14-year-old girl told police she was forcibly pulled into a bathroom and sexually assaulted by a male classmate.

Both the alleged victim and the suspect are students at Thornton Middle School.

The suspect is a 14-year-old boy. He was taken into custody for investigation of first degree sexual assault and transported to the Adams County Juvenile Detention Center.
