DENVER (CBS4) – New numbers out on Friday show that even though influenza cases seem to be leveling off in parts of the country, in Colorado they are still on the rise.
Flu-like illness reported in the Denver and Boulder areas has increased slightly in the past week.
Last week 119 people had been hospitalized for the flu. There is now a total of 789 cases in Colorado.
Overall, cases in the southwest and northwest are rising, but levels are declining in the south, southeast, New England and Midwest.
