Tiger Woods Reportedly Dating Olympic Skier Lindsey Vonn

DENVER (CBS Denver) - Tiger Woods is reportedly going for the gold with Olympic skier Lindsey Vonn.

Star magazine reports the world's former No. 1-ranked golfer met Vail resident Vonn through skiing.

"They met through the ski community, because Tiger is an active skier," a source close to Vonn told Star magazine. "Lindsey has been teaching Tiger's kids Sam and Charlie how to ski."

Woods reportedly visited Vonn in Austria this month while she was competing in a skiing World Cup event and also took a romantic vacation together in Antigua.

"Their busy schedules mean they don't get a lot of time together, but they constantly talk on the phone," a source close to Woods told Star magazine. "And Tiger has made more of a commitment to Lindsey lately — he's pulling out all the stops."

Woods famously divorced model Elin Nordegren after it was revealed he cheated on her with a reported 20 women.

Vonn, who won a gold and a bronze medal in the 2010 Winter Olympics, reportedly had her divorce finalized earlier this year.

Vonn's publicist issued a statement regarding the rumors.

"Lindsey is currently in the midst of the World Cup season in Europe," Lewis Kay said in a statement to USA Today. "Her focus is solely on competing and on defending her titles and thus she will not participate in any speculation surrounding her personal life at this time."
