BOULDER, Colo. (CBS4)- The Nobel Laureate from Boulder has been honored in his hometown.
The Boulder City Council recognized David Wineland at their meeting Tuesday evening.
Wineland won the Nobel Prize for physics during a ceremony in Sweden last month.
Wineland works at the National Institute of Standards and Technology in Boulder.
He also lectures and advises graduate students at the University of Colorado.
