DENVER (CBS4) – Last year was a good year, if not great, for movies.

There were so many good ones to choose from that picking a best picture at next month’s Academy Awards could be next to impossible. But that never stops CBS4 Critic at Large Greg Moody from making the case for his favorites.

“‘Silver Linings Playbook’ is this year’s ‘The Descendants.’ The characters are flawed — they’re driven to destructive behavior, and somehow you can’t help but care about each and every one of them,” Moody said.
