COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) – Caleb Herbert scored with less than two minutes to play to give Minnesota-Duluth a 3-2 win over Colorado College on Friday.
Herbert got the game-winner at 18:17 of the third period. He also assisted on Justin Crandall’s power-play goal that tied the game 1-1 midway through the second period.
Mike Seidel also scored for the Bulldogs (10-10-3, 8-6-3).
Hunter Fejes and Mike Boivin scored for the Tigers (9-14-2, 6-10-2), who were outshot 38-26.
Matt McNeely had 24 saves for UMD and Joe Howe made 35 saves for Colorado College.
