AURORA, Colo. (CBS4) – The Century 16 theater is set to reopen this week for the first time since the shootings in July.
On Tuesday and Wednesday victims and their families are allowed to tour the theater, which will now be called Century Aurora. It’s undergone renovations inside and out.
On Thursday the theater will officially reopen with an event described as an evening of remembrance. Gov. John Hickenlooper is scheduled to attend the ceremony to honor the victims.
Twelve people died and dozens others were hurt during the shootings.
