Suspected Drunk Driver Causes Crash With Fort Collins Officer

FORT COLLINS, Colo. (CBS4) - Fort Collins police believe a drunk driver is to blame for a crash involving one of its officers.

The crash happened about 10 a.m. Monday on Prospect Road near Ellis Street.

A man driving a Honda CRV weaved into the wrong lanes of traffic. Officer Dawn Johnsen tried to avoid the Honda, but they still crashed.

Johnsen was taken to the hospital and the driver of the Honda was arrested.
