New Colorado Judicial Center To Open

DENVER (AP) - Gov. John Hickenlooper will join Colorado Supreme Court Chief Justice Michael Bender, Attorney General John Suthers and former Gov. Bill Ritter Monday to dedicate the new Ralph L. Carr Judicial Center.

The Colorado Supreme Court, the attorney general and the appellate courts start work in the new judicial center near the Capitol following the ribbon-cutting on Monday. The Supreme Court has been working in temporary housing in a nearby office building since 2010.

The Ralph L. Carr Colorado Judicial Center is named for Colorado's 29th governor, who served from 1939 to 1943.
