LOVELAND, Colo. (CBS4) – Children playing outside in Loveland found a dead body Sunday afternoon.

The Larimer County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a ditch near the intersection of Chestnut Drive and McKinley Avenue at 3:57 p.m. on the report of a dead body. Deputies found a deceased white male in the ditch.

Authorities said the body was covered with snow and was frozen to the ground.

The body was identified as Craig Andrew Brown, 48, of Loveland. The cause of death will be released by the coroner’s office at a later time.
