DENVER (CBS4) – Downtown Denver will finally get a major grocery store, according to CBS4′s news partners at the Denver Business Journal.
King Soopers says it will build an urban store as part of an apartment development project. The site is at 20th Street and Chestnut Place, just a couple blocks away from Coors Field.
King Soopers says there is a growing number of people who live downtown and right now there’s no full-service store in the Central Platte Valley.
No opening date has been set.
