Administrators at Niwot High School said the Boulder County Sheriff recommended the school close Friday.
The school is located at 8989 Niwot Road in Niwot.
The closure results from two threats against students this week, according to the explanation posted on the school’s website.
The latest threat was a list that contained names of 30 people. The threats were not detailed.
School administrators did not provide specifics about who may have been included on the list or how they were connected to the school.
