AURORA, Colo. (CBS4) – Aurora police are starting a free program that parents might want to take advantage of.
The police department will hold special training classes for children and parents designed to help ensure child safety.
The programs later this month and next month are for children ages 6 to 12 and will take place at the Aurora Police Training Academy.
The class is open to the public and limited to the first 25 children plus parents.
Each child must be accompanied by an adult. To register for the class, please leave a message including your name and phone number at (303) 739-1804. You will receive a confirmation return phone call.
