DILLON, Colo. (CBS4) – Many people have friends and family in town for the holidays, and CBS4 found plenty enjoying the fresh snow in the mountains on Sunday.

Some hit the slopes, as the mountains have been seeing fresh powder. There were also numerous folks out ice skating under blue skies on Keystone Lake.

Many vacationers told CBS4 experiencing the holiday week in the mountains is a fresh change of scenery.

“I’m looking forward to spending Christmas in the mountains because it’s just something different than just staying home and opening presents there,” teenager Nicholos Pruett told CBS4.

“It’s snowing and we get to enjoy skiing and keep the family together,” one happy skier said.
