GOLDEN, Colo. (CBS4)- A man died in a house fire in Golden on Thursday night. The cause of that fire has not been determined.

At 10:48 p.m. Thursday, firefighters from Pleasant View Fire Department, Golden Fire Department and Jefferson County Sheriff’s deputies rushed to the fire at 1415 Isabell Street in Golden.

Neighbors reported the fire after smelling smoke and seeing flames coming from the roof of the home.

Once they were able to get inside, firefighters found the man’s body.

The cause of the fire is being investigated. It is not considered suspicious.

The identity of the man has not been released.
