Greeley Mom Pleads Guilty To Sexually Assaulting Teenage Boys

GREELEY, Colo. (CBS)- A mother from Greeley pleaded guilty in court on Wednesday to sexually assaulting two boys.

Lynne Freeman pleaded guilty to one count of attempted sexual assault on a child. She is scheduled to be sentenced on Jan. 31, 2013.

The two boys Freeman, 39, assaulted were 14 and 16 years old.

Freeman was arrested June 20 after the parents of a 14-year-old boy reported allegations of sexual abuse to police. The incident happened in April but was not reported to police until a couple months later.

According to police, the boy was at Freeman's home with a friend watching a movie when she told the victim's friend to take the dog outside.

"She told him to go upstairs, took him upstairs, went into a bedroom, into a closet, locked the door, started kissing him, took off his clothing and then sexually assaulted him in the closet. After that was done she told him to go back downstairs, she remained upstairs in the bathroom for a short time and told him not to tell anyone," said Greeley Police Dept. spokeswoman Susan West.

Freeman was arrested on additional charges when a second victim, a 16-yar-old boy, came forward to police with similar allegations of sexual assault. That boy told police Freeman assaulted him on two occasions.

Freeman remains free on a $50,000 bond.

Freeman had been a parent volunteer at University Schools in Greeley.
