Amber Alert Canceled; Missing 2-Year-Old Colorado Springs Girl Found

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (CBS4) – Police in Colorado Springs have located a 2-year-old girl and the Amber Alert has been canceled.

The girl has been located and is safe. She had been missing for almost 24 hours before police were notified late Tuesday night.

The girl was believed to have been with Tonia Shetina, 38.

Just after 3 p.m. Wednesday police received a tip on the Amber Alert that Shetina had been at a particular home just south of Fountain.

About 3:30 p.m. the Colorado Springs Police Department Violent Crimes unit and El Paso County sheriff deputies responded to the home and safely removed the girl.
