VAIL, Colo. (CBS4) – Olympic gold medalist Lindsey Vonn is considering legal action after she was told she couldn’t compete against men.
The International Ski Federation blocked her bid to race against the men at a recent event in Canada, but the Vail resident said the fight isn’t over in an interview with CNN.
“I don’t want to make a big stink about it. I feel like their response that I can’t race with the men simply because I’m a woman is definitely gender biased,” she said.
Vonn says her father is an attorney and that they are discussing what legal options, if any, she has.
