COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (CBS4) – They put hundreds of dollars in Christmas gifts in storage for their grandson only to fall victim to crooks.
Over the weekend someone broke into the storage facility in El Paso County, stealing everything for the 2-year-old.
The Thompsons stored the gifts so the little boy wouldn’t find them in their home.
“It’s one thing to take my stuff, but to take a baby’s toys at Christmas, it’s just wrong.” Linda Thompson said.
The family says other items in the storage unit were also taken, including deejay equipment and NASCAR memorabilia.
Police have no suspects at this time.
