GLENWOOD SPRINGS, Colo. (CBS4) – A FedEx truck crashed on Interstate 70 Tuesday morning, spilling freight all over the highway.
The truck was heading westbound about one mile east of Glenwood Springs when the crash occurred. The truck went over the cement dividing rail and then flipped over the guardrail on the other side. It ended up facing eastward on its side, spilling much of its contents.
One eastbound lane had to be closed as the freight was cleaned up. Officials later completely closed the eastbound lanes to get the truck upright and towed away. The lanes were reopened around 4 p.m.
Nobody was injured.
It’s not clear if speed or weather were a factor in the crash.
