CRAIG, Colo. (CBS4) – Police in Craig are investigating what they believe is a homicide that occurred early Sunday morning.

Officers responded to the 400 block of Yampa Avenue on a call for an unknown problem. When they arrived they found Armando Shane Arrendondo, 43, who they said was the victim of an assault.

Arrendondo was transported to Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Police arrested Leroy Fief, 48, on suspicion of first-degree murder.
