Signing Santa (credit: CBS)
DENVER (CBS4)- Santa is making a stop at the Cherry Creek Mall on Thursday, but this isn’t your typical Saint Nick.
This Santa is the Signing Santa who will be meeting with deaf and hard-of-hearing children.
As part of the Signing Santa Day, children will also walk through the multi-sensory Ice Palace and watch the movie “Ice Age: Continental Drift” complete with on-screen sign language interpretation.
About 250 children from 13 different schools throughout the Denver metro area will take part in the day’s activities.
The Signing Santa and Ice Palace is also open to the general public.
Signing Santa will be at the Cherry Creek Mall from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Thursday.
