Golden High Senior With Down Syndrome Scores A Big Basket

GOLDEN, Colo. (CBS4) - CBS4's Vic Lombardi attended the Golden-D'Evelyn high school game over the weekend and got to witness something special.

In the final seconds with the game already decided Golden inserted senior Scottie Lubkeman, a player with Down syndrome. But Lubkeman can shoot.

He drained his first-ever bucket as a senior varsity player.

The gym erupted after Lubkeman made the shot and the senior was all smiles.
